That Ache in Your Core Isn't "Just Stress." Let's Actually Look.
A focused thermography scan of your chest, abdomen, and back — a radiation-free way to visualize inflammation and circulation patterns in the exact region where your discomfort actually lives.
- No Radiation
- Better Decisions
- Wellness Focused
You Know Your Body. Something's Off.
Bloating that doesn’t resolve. A dull ache along your back that you’ve stopped mentioning because you’ve been told it’s “probably just posture” or “probably just stress” one too many times. Digestive discomfort that comes and goes without a clear trigger.
You’ve been dismissed, or worse, told everything looks fine on paper — while you’re still the one living in this body every day, feeling what you feel.
You don’t need another 15-minute appointment where a symptom gets waved away. You need a way to actually see what’s happening in the region where your discomfort lives.
A Focused Look, Without the Full-Body Time or Cost
Torso Thermography
A torso thermography scan uses infrared imaging to map heat and circulation patterns across your Chest, abdomen & back thermal mapping in a single 20-30 minute session. Painless, contact-free, no compression.
Plain-Language Report
No clinical jargon to decode — a report written so you actually understand what you're looking at.
Your Baseline
Every scan creates a personal reference point, so future visits show you what's actually changed.
Bring It To Your Doctor
A concrete visual you can share at your next appointment, instead of just describing how you feel.
Why it matters
Most testing looks at structure — what your body looks like. Thermography looks at function — how your body is behaving right now. Different information, reviewed alongside what your other tests already show you.
How It Works
1. Book Online
Choose a time that works for you in under two minutes. No referral needed.
2. Your Scan (30–45 min)
Relax in a private, temperature-controlled room. No needles, no compression, no radiation.
3. Certified Review
Your images are analyzed by a certified thermographer who compares patterns across your body.
4. Your Report
Receive a detailed report you can keep, share with your doctor, or compare against future scans.
What's Commonly Explored
General inflammation patterns across the chest, abdomen, and back
Head
Commonly explored areas of interest: general inflammation patterns around the sinus, jaw (TMJ), and dental regions. Thermography cannot visualize the brain.
Neck
Commonly explored areas of interest: thyroid-area patterns, carotid and vascular patterns, lymphatic patterns.
Chest & Breasts
A half body scan includes a full breast series — see our Breast Thermography page for details. The chest region also visualizes lymphatic and general inflammation patterns near the heart and lung area.
Abdomen
Commonly explored areas of interest: general inflammation and circulatory patterns across the abdominal and pelvic region, and lymphatic patterns. Thermography does not assess the prostate or testes.
Upper Back
Commonly explored areas of interest: general inflammation patterns, muscle tension patterns, and areas of chronic, undiagnosed discomfort.
Lower Back
Commonly explored areas of interest: general inflammation patterns, muscle tension patterns, and areas of chronic, undiagnosed discomfort.
Who This Is For
You’ve already got a sense of where your discomfort concentrates — your gut, your back, your chest — and you’d rather focus your appointment (and your budget) there than book a full body session. You’re the kind of person who wants something concrete to bring into your next doctor’s conversation, not just “it still hurts sometimes.”
Torso Thermography Scan
A focused scan of the chest, abdomen, and back — commonly chosen by clients monitoring inflammation patterns, digestive or thyroid-area concerns, or general core-body wellness without the time or cost of a full body session.
Mid-body & abdominal inflammation · Digestive & gut-health thermal patterns · Thyroid & upper-respiratory region · Cardiovascular & back/spine heat symmetry · Lymphatic congestion in the core
Comparison / Follow-Up Scan
Available for any of the above — full body, torso, or breast. For clients who’ve already completed a baseline scan, a comparison session re-images the same area and places the new results side-by-side with your prior scan, so you can see what’s changed over time.
Best for: tracking your body’s response to a new wellness protocol or treatment plan · ongoing monitoring on a [3–6 month] cadence · peace of mind between visits to your other healthcare providers
Want more than one area covered? A Full Body scan includes everything Breast and Torso cover individually — for $205 less than booking them separately.
HSA & FSA Accepted
Vital Core accepts HSA and FSA cards for all scans. Insurance is not typically accepted for thermography, but your HSA/FSA funds can be used the same as any other card payment.
FAQ
Common questions.
Still curious? Our team is happy to walk you through anything before you book.
Why torso instead of full body?
If your concern is specifically centered on your chest, abdomen, or back, a torso scan gives you focused insight in less time, at a lower cost — without imaging areas you’re not currently concerned about.
Can I upgrade to a full body scan later?
Absolutely. Many clients start focused and expand to a full body scan on a future visit, or vice versa.
Will this tell me what's causing my pain?
Stop Explaining It. Start Seeing It.
Book your torso scan and get a clearer picture of what’s happening where it actually hurts.
