A Breast Health Check-In That Doesn't Involve Compression, Radiation, or Dread
Breast thermography is a comfortable, radiation-free way to stay engaged with your breast health between your regular mammograms — never instead of them, always alongside them.
Let's Be Honest About Mammograms.
Compression that can be genuinely painful. The wait for results that stretches an afternoon into a week of low-grade anxiety. And if you have dense breast tissue, the frustrating awareness that the test itself may be giving you a less complete picture than you’d like.
This isn’t a case against mammography — please keep getting yours, on the schedule your doctor recommends. But between those appointments, a lot of women want something — a way to stay actively engaged with their breast health instead of just waiting for the next scheduled test, without radiation exposure adding up in the meantime.
A Comfortable Way to Stay Engaged, Between Screenings
Full-Breast Thermography
Breast thermography visualizes patterns of heat and blood flow in breast tissue using an infrared cameral mapping in a single 20-minute session. Painless, contact-free, no compression.
Plain-Language Report
No clinical jargon to decode — a report written so you actually understand what you're looking at.
Your Baseline
Every scan creates a personal reference point, so future visits show you what's actually changed.
Bring It To Your Doctor
A concrete visual you can share at your next appointment, instead of just describing how you feel.
Why it matters
Staying engaged with your breast health shouldn't mean choosing between comfort and consistency. Thermography gives you a radiation-free way to check in as often as makes sense for you — alongside your mammogram, never instead of it.
How It Works
1. Book Online
Choose a time that works for you in under two minutes. No referral needed.
2. Your Scan (30–45 min)
Relax in a private, temperature-controlled room. No needles, no compression, no radiation.
3. Certified Review
Your images are analyzed by a certified thermographer who compares patterns across your body.
4. Your Report
Receive a detailed report you can keep, share with your doctor, or compare against future scans.
What's Commonly Explored
- General inflammation patterns in breast tissue
- Circulatory and vascular patterns
- Lymphatic patterns, including the underarm area
- Breast health awareness as part of an ongoing, adjunctive wellness routine
Who This Is For
You’re diligent about your mammogram schedule and you’re going to keep it that way — this isn’t a replacement for that discipline. But you want an additional, comfortable way to stay engaged with your breast health in between, without adding radiation exposure, and without the physical discomfort that keeps some women dreading their next appointment instead of staying proactive..
Breast Thermography Scan
A focused infrared scan of breast tissue, used as one part of a broader breast health routine — never as a replacement for mammography or clinical breast exams.
Thermal symmetry between breasts · Vascular patterning & localized heat activity · Estrogen dominance / hormonal influence patterns · Lymphatic drainage around the breast tissue & axilla (underarm) · Fibrocystic tissue heat baseline tracking
Comparison / Follow-Up Scan
Available for any of the above — full body, torso, or breast. For clients who’ve already completed a baseline scan, a comparison session re-images the same area and places the new results side-by-side with your prior scan, so you can see what’s changed over time.
Best for: tracking your body’s response to a new wellness protocol or treatment plan · ongoing monitoring on a [3–6 month] cadence · peace of mind between visits to your other healthcare providers
Want more than one area covered? A Full Body scan includes everything Breast and Torso cover individually — for $205 less than booking them separately.
HSA & FSA Accepted
Vital Core accepts HSA and FSA cards for all scans. Insurance is not typically accepted for thermography, but your HSA/FSA funds can be used the same as any other card payment.
FAQ
Common questions.
Still curious? Our team is happy to walk you through anything before you book.
Is this instead of my mammogram?
No — and we’d tell you directly if you asked us in person, too. Please continue your mammograms on the schedule your doctor recommends. This is an adjunctive tool, not a replacement.
Is thermography better for dense breast tissue than mammograms?
We won’t claim that, because the evidence doesn’t support it. What we can tell you is that thermography uses no radiation and no compression, which some women find more comfortable to do more frequently than a mammogram — but it is not a substitute for the structural detail a mammogram provides.
Does it hurt?
What happens if my scan shows a pattern worth discussing?
We’ll walk you through your report in plain language and recommend you share it with your physician, who can determine if any follow-up is warranted alongside your regular screening.
